Gentle Grooming for Puppies and Sensitive Pets

Pawsitive Grooming offers puppy first visits, grooming familiarization sessions, short comfort-led grooms, and sensitive-pet bath and brush services. Each appointment begins with a temperament and history inquiry, so the grooming plan can match the pet's coat condition, handling needs, and level of comfort.

Newer or nervous pets are introduced step by step. We use quiet arrival, pre visit guidance, and stage by stage grooming to keep the experience manageable. If a pet shows significant stress, pain, aggression, breathing difficulty, or another welfare concern, the session may be paused, shortened, or adjusted.

Calm visits, short stages, and clear handover notes

For young pets and dogs that need a softer approach, every appointment starts with a careful assessment and a pace that respects their comfort.

Puppy introduction visits are fixed introductory sessions with scope limits and are not full haircuts. The goal is to create a positive first experience, explain what is practical on the day, and provide an owner preparation guide that supports the next visit.

When coat condition allows, we can continue with a staged grooming plan and a written grooming summary at handover. If matting or handling concerns make a requested finish impractical, a shorter practical result may be recommended for the pet's comfort.
